myConestoga is a community-based portal site designed to provide a collaborative, secure environment for college communities.
myConestoga will allow you to access other secure sites, such as your Office365 email and Student Portal, without the need to login again by using the Apps & Services links provided on the landing page. You can also search for documents and content via the Search Box located at the top of every page.
If you have any suggestions or comments regarding myConestoga, please feel free to use the feedback link located in the page footer and we'll get back to you as soon as we can.
If you have ever been a student or employee of Conestoga College, then you will automatically have access to the myConestoga portal. If you are new to Conestoga, you will have access as soon as a network (email) account is provided to you.
For all inquiries about usernames and passwords, you can contact the IT Service Desk. For contact information or the hours of operation, go to the official IT Service Desk Portal Community Site.
Some of the portlets pull in information from external sites (such as RSS feeds, weather report, etc.) and the information is not encrypted. Because the portal is a secure site (https vs http), depending on the browser you are using, you will receive this warning. All information retrieved for the portal has been reviewed and has been deemed safe. To disable this message, use the Removing the Do you want to view only the webpage content that was delivered securely? Security Warning link.
As a current student/employee of the college you can use your Network (email) account to login to the portal. This would be the same user name and password that you would use to access the college computers.
Example:
User Name: | jsmith or jsmith1234 |
Password: | yourpassword |
If you have been a student/employee of Conestoga College, you are still able to access the portal by using your 7-digit unique student/employee number and password. If you have never used this number to login before, your default password is your date of birth in the format of "YYYYMMDD"
Example:
User Name: | 12345678 |
Password: | yourpassword |
(note that April 1, 1980 would then be "19800401").
If you are still having trouble, please contact the IT Service Desk. For contact information or the hours of operation, go to the official IT Service Desk Portal Community Site.
